Jeff Kahane practices in the area of business reorganization and financial restructuring law. He is a recipient of the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence. He specializes in advising insurers and secured and unsecured creditors in chapter 11 cases.

He regularly represents secured creditors in individual and corporate bankruptcy cases. He has defended numerous preference and fraudulent transfer actions, and represented plaintiffs and defendants in breach of contract, turnover, and fraud actions, and in violation of discharge and lender liability actions before the bankruptcy court.
Mr. Kahane is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief and Chief Technology Editor of the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology, and a cum laude graduate of California State University at Northridge.
