Jeffrey L. Marks is a member of the firm’s Virginia Beach office where his practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, with particular experience in creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters. He represents all types of creditors, lenders, vendors and other claimants in bankruptcy, commercial litigation and creditors’ rights matters.
In addition to appearing on behalf of the firm’s clients at all levels of the state and federal courts, he provides representation to creditors, debtors and trustees in all types of bankruptcy cases across the country. He handles all types of commercial and bankruptcy litigation and negotiates settlements and workouts on behalf of lenders, borrowers and creditors.
Jeff was appointed to serve on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board and is a member of, and previously held leadership positions in, the Virginia Beach Bar Association (Immediate Past-President) and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar (Past-President).
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for TowneBank (City of Virginia Beach), the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival and the City of Virginia Beach Library Foundation. He is a former chairman of the Wetlands Board for the City of Virginia Beach and the 2nd District Disciplinary Committee for the Virginia State Bar.
Jeff is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been named to Virginia Business Magazine’s Legal Elite and Virginia Super Lawyers 2015.
