Jeffrey R. Matsen is one of the leading asset protection planning attorneys in Southern California and throughout the United States. He graduated cum laude with a BA degree from Brigham Young University in 1964 and received his law degree with honors (Order of the Coif) from UCLA School of Law in 1967.
After serving a three-year tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps as Judge Advocate with the rank of Captain, Jeff has provided a wide range of clients with the highest level of legal services for over 35 years.
As founder and managing partner of Bohm Wildish & Matsen, LLP, Matsen is entirely dedicated to providing his clients with the quality, professionalism and integrity they deserve.
Jeff and his dedicated staff of professionals set up and form corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships of all types and supply ongoing business, tax and legal advice for these entities, including strategic planning and executive coaching services.
They provide estate planning services including the preparation of Living Trusts, Wills and other related estate planning documents, probate administration, and the preparation of estate tax returns and necessary accompanying documentation.
When not practicing law and serving his clients, Matsen devotes his time and considerable energy to his wife and seven children.
He has managed and coached Little League and Pony League Baseball and Youth All Star Basketball for 23 years, and has served for many years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Harbor Area Boys and Girls Clubs.
