Ms. Joan-Marie Kettell Dean was given birth to in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1979, her family moved to Jacksonville in Alabama. In 1982, Ms Dean graduated top of her class from Jacksonville Laboratory High School. In 1985, she proceeded to graduate Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Alabama. In 1988, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University Of Alabama School Of Law. As a law student, she was the recipient of national recognition for her skills in trial advocacy.
She has been an attorney at law for more than 27 years. She is a combination of dedication and experience for legal success. For most of her years, her area of practice has been concentrated on family law. She has helped numerous clients with matters of divorce and child custody.
Additionally, Joan-Marie Dean is a successful appellate lawyer. She has handled several briefs for numerous clients in all three courts of Appellate in Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Civil Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
