Jennifer K. Brooks concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial lending, asset-based finance, corporate restructuring, creditors’ rights and insolvency. Represented clients include commercial lending institutions, official and ad hoc committees, bondholders, distressed debt purchasers, indenture trustees and other significant parties-in-interest.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Jenn practiced at a national law firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. She has served as intern for the U.S. Army JAG Corps in Monterey, California, where she worked on a variety of issues, including labor and employment, administrative law and criminal law.
She also served as an intern with the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office, where she assisted with domestic violence cases. Jenn is an active member of the Burbank Sunrise Rotary Club.
