
Jennifer C. Lacey joined our firm in May 2018 and received her J.D. from Stanford Law School. Her practice focuses on business bankruptcy and restructuring, business law for nonprofit and charitable organizations, and litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lacey operated a boutique law firm in the Hampton Roads Area that helped local businesses by providing corporate law services to small businesses and entrepreneurs, government contracting services, and non-profit legal services to community charities.
Ms. Lacey was awarded a contract with the City of Norfolk to provide legal services to the businesses located within the City’s Empowerment Zones. Ms. Lacey spoke at various business seminars conducted by local non-profit organizations in the Hampton Roads area and for the Small Business Administration (SBA) throughout the State.
In addition to helping businesses, she also assisted individuals with family law services, including child custody, child and spousal support, and divorce. She has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in child custody, neglect, and truancy cases.
Ms. Lacey is active in her church and community. She is also an advocate for those both in and leaving abusive and unhealthy relationships.
