Jennifer Casey is a Partner at Kolko & Associates, P.C., where she specializes in the field of U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Law.
Jennifer is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Massachusetts. In 2006, Jennifer received her license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2011, Jennifer received her license to practice law in State of Colorado. Throughout her legal career, Jennifer has exclusively practiced immigration law.
Jennifer grew up in Denver, Colorado. She attended Denver South High School and the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2000, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies. After graduating from college, Jennifer worked as a fourth grade teacher in a bilingual classroom for Denver Public Schools.
As a teacher, Jennifer worked closely with families who recently immigrated to the United States. It was her experience with these families that inspired her to attend law school and focus on immigration law.
In 2003, Jennifer moved to San Francisco, California to attend the University of California’s Hastings College of Law. During law school, Jennifer was a judicial extern at the U.S. Immigration Court in San Francisco, California.
Working at the Immigration Court, Jennifer gained first-hand knowledge of how the Court functions and developed important strategies for successfully advocating for her future clients before the U.S. Immigration Courts throughout the country.
Since 2006, Jennifer’s work resulted in hundreds of successful cases before the U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) and U.S. State Department.
