Jennifer R. Graff is a counsel based in the New York office and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group. Her practice focuses on the formation, management and organization of private investment funds.
Ms. Graff has advised fund managers on a wide range of complex matters for a variety of fund offerings including private equity, hedge and hybrid funds.
Through the course of her career, Ms. Graff has successfully navigated clients through seed capital transactions and investment management M&A issues, developed bespoke agreements with complex economics, established and advised on “upper-tier” arrangements and led SEC exam preparations.
Ms. Graff’s recent experience includes representing the Carlyle Group, HarbourVest Partners, Vinci Partners, the Blackstone Group, GSO Capital Partners and Apollo Global Management.
Ms. Graff is the 2018-2021 Secretary of the Private Investment Funds Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Ms. Graff joined Debevoise in 2018. She received her A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2004 and her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2008, where she served as an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology.
