Jennifer Horne provides clients with sound counsel on a broad spectrum of environmental matters across a variety of transaction types involving mining and renewable energy projects, contaminated properties, mergers and acquisitions, real property acquisitions, divestitures and financings. Jennifer also represents clients in complex litigation involving a range of corporate and real estate matters.
Clients benefit from Jennifer’s experience assisting clients with remediating and redeveloping contaminated properties, evaluating properties and companies for potential environmental liabilities, and developing strategies to limit environmental liabilities associated with real property and corporate acquisitions.
Jennifer is experienced with various environmental laws and regulations, particularly the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; and the Clean Water Act. Jennifer has experience negotiating agreements and settlements with state and Federal regulatory agencies and private parties.
Jennifer has represented clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, energy, construction, and finance. Clients benefit from her efficient approach to dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Jennifer was an associate at Chapman and Cutler LLP, a judicial clerk for Associate Presiding Judge J. Frederic Voros of the Utah Court of Appeals, and a judicial extern for Judge Dale A. Kimball of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.
