
Jennifer K. Green is a Member in the Litigation Practice Group in Clark Hill’s Birmingham office. She focuses her practice primarily in the area of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, employment-related disputes, insurance matters, financial services and lender liability.
Jennifer has considerable litigation experience in both state and federal courts, including discovery, dispositive motions, trials, and appellate work. Her recent experiences include four jury trial victories on behalf of Clark Hill clients and serving as lead litigation counsel for the Police & Fire Retirement System and the General Retirement System in the historic City of Detroit Chapter 9 bankruptcy proceedings.
Jennifer was named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers in the area of commercial litigation for the years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017. In 2014, she was named a DBusiness Top Lawyer in the area of commercial litigation.
In 2014 and 2015, she was included in Hour Detroit Magazine’s “Top Women Attorneys” publication. In 2015, she was nominated by her peers and selected by DBusiness for its annual “Top Young Lawyers” feature.
Outside of the office, Jennifer has served as a Barrister with the American Inns of Court and is member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Character and Fitness Committee and the Michigan Bankers Association.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
