
Jennifer Butler is co-chair of the Health Care Group and brings over a decade of experience in representing leading health care companies. Jennifer concentrates her practice on health care regulatory and legislative matters. Her practice includes serving as chief health care counsel to Senator Robert J. Dole.
Jennifer represents clients on the full spectrum of health care issues, including Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement, the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015, Anti-Kickback and Stark statutes and HIPAA privacy and security laws.
She concentrates her practice on general representation of health care companies, with an emphasis on specialized support to pharmaceutical companies. Jennifer’s clients benefit from her unique ability to combine substantive expertise on issues with a comprehensive understanding of the legislative process.
She received her J.D. in 1998 from Washington & Lee University, where she served as co-chairperson of the moot court board and was awarded first place in the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1995 from Florida State University.
Jennifer is a frequent speaker on a variety of health care topics, including Medicare Part D and health reform implementation. She also served for several years as the hiring partner for the D.C. office.
