Jennifer Liu focuses her practice on complex intellectual property litigation and represents clients in matters involving a variety of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices. Jennifer’s work involves various aspects of litigation, including pre-litigation investigation and analysis, drafting pleadings and motions, drafting infringement and validity contentions, managing discovery, taking depositions, working with experts, and preparing for trial. She has experience litigating under the Hatch-Waxman Act and the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA), including one of the first BPCIA cases.
Jennifer began her legal career as an intellectual property litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis. Prior to her legal career, Jennifer was a practicing pharmacist for eight years, and she remains a licensed pharmacist in New York and Connecticut. She earned a B.S. and M.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
