Jennifer A. Mencken is a Senior Staff Attorney at King & Spalding’s E-Discovery practice. Her practice focuses primarily on the defense of high-exposure product liability litigation and government investigations by the United States Department of Justice, the Food and Drug Administration, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and various state Attorneys General and Congressional Committees.
Jennifer has represented product manufacturers including General Motors, Toyota, GlaxoSmithKline, Purdue Pharma, and Shire in federal and state court actions in many jurisdictions throughout the United States, as well as federal and state governmental investigations.
She has over a decade of experience in managing pretrial discovery issues for the firm’s clients, including development of review and workflow protocols/best practices, early case assessment, searching methodology and validation. She has particular expertise and advises clients regarding issues involving the attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine.
