I was Assistant Attorney General for 16 years in the Child and Family Protection Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
I had a fantastic career in government, but the time had come to move from public to private family law practice.
In my years with the AGO, I interacted professionally with many law firms here in the Valley, and I wanted to work with the best.
Having seen firsthand the caliber of attorneys working with the Stewart Law Group, their professionalism, high ethical standards, and the quality work for their clients, that was the firm I wanted to work for.
And in 2016, I joined the family law team as Associate Attorney.
When I’m not at the office, I volunteer in the community for “Neighbors Who Care,” an organization arranging dinner delivery to homebound elderly Arizonans.
I’m looking forward to taking on more challenges, doing important work for those who need legal help and advice, and being more active in my local community.
I love traveling to destinations known for their sandy beaches or mountain vistas when the plan is to relax.
As an attorney, you carry a lot of your client’s stress.
So I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, have lots of fun, and stay fit by doing hot yoga, playing tennis, hiking, and trail running whenever and wherever I can.
Jennifer Mihalovich joined the Stewart Law Group in 2016 and worked out of the firm’s Chandler office location.
She is recognized for her courtroom and case management skills, and she brings substantial experience in complex family support issues to the law firm.
She spent 16 years working for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in paternity, child support establishment, and enforcement in local, interstate, and international cases.
Additionally, Ms. Mihalovich has specialized expertise in modifying child support orders and interstate cases.
She is a fountain of knowledge for both the clients she helps and the Stewart Law Group’s legal team.
Her job as Assistant Attorney General prepared her for the work she does today, guiding Moms and Dads through Arizona divorce and child custody proceedings.
Her caseload at the Attorney General’s Office was immense, with 350 to 550 active cases on any given day and 22 to 25 hearings a week!
A seasoned advocate, Ms. Mihalovich has gained the respect of the legal community for her professionalism, strong litigation skills, and steel-minded focus.
She is efficient, decisive, a perfectionist in her work, and as “reliable as the sunrise.”
With her friendly, outgoing personality, she is someone who always has time to talk with co-workers and fellow volunteers at “Neighbors Who Care,” where she delivers dinners to homebound elderly clients.
She brings sunshine into many people’s lives.
If you ask her favorite travel destination, she will tell you it is “anywhere there are beaches or mountains.”
An advocate for health and fitness, she stays active and enjoys playing tennis, hiking in the mountains, camping under the night sky, and trail running in the Arizona desert.
