Jennifer Kozar, a partner in the New York office, is a member of the firm’s Government & Internal Investigations and Litigation & Trial Practice Groups. Jennifer represents financial institutions and other corporations in complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on disputes arising from structured and real estate finance, securities, insurance and other financial products.
In addition, Jennifer has represented highly regulated entities and public corporations, as well as corporate officers, directors and employees, in investigations by the SEC, the Department of Justice, the New York Attorney General’s Office, FINRA and other criminal and civil authorities.
Jennifer received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2005. At the University of Michigan, she was an associate editor and a note editor for the Michigan Law Review. She was a recipient of the Book Award for legal practice and writing. Jennifer received her B.S., with honors, in microbiology from Michigan State University in 2001.
Jennifer is admitted to practice before the state courts of New York and New Jersey and before the federal district courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
