Jennifer Siegel is an associate in the Los Angeles office of King and Spalding and a member of the firm’s Healthcare practice. She represents healthcare providers in managed care disputes in arbitrations and in federal and state civil actions.
Prior to joining King and Spalding, Jennifer represented clients in environmental, product liability and fraud and abuse matters.
Jennifer obtained her Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in Infectious Disease.Throughout her academic career, she maintained an interest in health and life sciences, obtaining her undergraduate degree in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan and performing genetic research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the University of Michigan. Jennifer received her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, cum laude, with a concentration in health law. At both the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins, her concentration theses focused on the legal and ethical challenges faced when obtaining informed consent from vulnerable populations participating in human subject research studies.
Jennifer currently serves as a voting member of the Institutional Biosafety Committee for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, reviewing projects involving hazardous materials in order to reduce biohazardous risks.
