
Jennifer M. Voss litigates complex, high-stakes matters for Fortune 500 companies, concentrating on product liability, tort, commercial litigation and legal malpractice defense. She has represented product manufacturers in a variety of fields and highly-regulated industries and is involved with cases from new matter intake through trial.
She has experience litigating multimillion-dollar cases. Jen currently spends much of her time representing Philip Morris USA in smoking-and-health lawsuits, including defense of Engle-Progeny cases. Her work often involves coordinating defense strategy in multidefendant cases, conducting all aspects of fact and expert discovery, preparing witnesses for trial and serving as trial counsel.
Jen is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the legal community and beyond and brings this enthusiasm to her leadership roles at Shook. She serves as Chair of the Women’s Management Council and is a past recipient of the firm’s Mosaic Award, given to those who demonstrate outstanding efforts to promote diversity in the workplace.
Jen’s civic and pro bono work focuses on the rights of children. She serves on the board of directors for Florida’s Children First, a nonprofit child welfare advocacy organization. Jen is also a proud member of the William Reece Smith, Jr. Litigation American Inn of Court.
