Jenny Connors focuses her practice on the taxation of businesses, business owners and investors, with a particular emphasis on the taxation of flow-through entities. Jenny also counsels clients on the establishment of private equity funds, the acquisition of low-income housing and historic preservation tax credits and the formation of tax-exempt organizations.
She also advises clients on tax incentives for investments in the qualified opportunity zones established by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. A member of the Virginia State Bar, Jenny received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law as a John Marshall Scholar.
She was on the staff of the University of Richmond Law Review; a member of the Lewis F. Powell, Jr. American Inn of Court; and the vice president of the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. Jenny placed first in the school’s annual Negotiation Competition and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in the school’s Taxation of Non-Corporate Entities class.
Jenny earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond. She is a recipient of the Westhampton College Distinguished Leader Award and an inductee of both Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa.
