Jerome Pierce is a law clerk in Steptoe’s San Francisco office, where he focuses on complex civil litigation. His practice involves all stages of litigation in federal and state court, including fact and expert witness preparation, procedural strategy, and management of discovery. Jerome has worked on matters involving contractual and other commercial disputes on both the plaintiff and defense sides.
Recent matters include representing insurers in coverage disputes over sports-related brain injury claims, assisting in an internal investigation for an international government defense contractor, and representing retailers and manufacturers in matters involving federal and state laws including Proposition 65, state unfair competition laws, and the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
Jerome is active in pro bono matters that range from representing prospective adoptive parents to representing elderly and disabled individuals in consumer transaction claims. Jerome also serves as a member of Steptoe’s Professional Training Committee.
