Jesse L. Byam-Katzman is an associate and business litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.Mr. Katzman was a summer associate with Foley in 2016, in the firm’s Milwaukee office.
Prior to joining Foley, he was a summer associate at a full-service Milwaukee firm. Before pursuing a career in the legal industry, Mr. Katzman worked as a claims professional for Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies.

Mr. Katzman earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School (J.D., summa cum laude, 2017), where he was the business editor for the Marquette Law Review and a student leader for the Academic and Supplemental Success Programs.
He earned seven CALI Awards for highest grade, including awards in advanced civil procedure, evidence, and advanced legal research. He was also on the Dean’s list for six semesters.
Mr. Katzman received his bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University (B.A., cum laude, 2012), where he majored in philosophy and minored in economics.
