Jesse Snyder is a senior associate in the Washington, D.C. office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Appellate, Constitutional, and Administrative Law practice group. Jesse’s practice focuses on appeals, dispositive motions, and strategic counseling on complex litigation.
Before joining King & Spalding, Jesse served as a term law clerk to three federal judges: the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Honorable Jorge A. Solis of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Jesse also assisted Judge Siler while he sat by designation on the U.S. Courts of Appeals for Ninth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit.
He is a graduate of the Texas A&M University Law School (then Texas Wesleyan School of Law), where he served as Editor in Chief of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, graduated in the highest percentile of his class, and was inducted into the National Order of Scribes.
He is a published author in 19 different law reviews, covering a variety of topics ranging from the Antiterrorism Act to the First Amendment to the Patent Act. He also serves as an ex officio member of Texas A&M’s faculty committee on clerkship placements.
Before attending law school, Jesse amassed experience as an engineer at Stryker Corporation and as a commissioned military officer serving in the Air Force during the attacks on September 11, 2001. His medical-device experience covers a wide array of technology platforms for use in endoscopic procedures.
As a graduate of the Air Force Academy, Jesse is a combat veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Multinational Corps-Iraq, and Combined Joint Task Force 7. He continues to serve in the Air Force Reserves.
