Jessica Kalt is a senior staff attorney in the firm’s WilmerHale Discovery Solutions department, focused on substantive and strategic areas of discovery for Litigation Controversy matters. She joined the firm in 2008.
Ms. Kalt focuses her practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, she works with other attorneys, litigation support coordinators, and paralegals in order to provide efficient and cost effective discovery in litigations and investigations.
Senior staff attorneys on these teams manage matters to create smarter document review processes through strategic and tactical work from preservation to collection and through review and production. In this role they utilize the firm’s internal review software as well as e-discovery vendors’ review and analytical tools.
Ms. Kalt has direct experience with document review and analysis. Prior to joining the firm, she was a contract attorney for firms in Washington DC, where she conducted issue and privilege document review and contributed to matters including internal corporate investigations, patent litigation and antitrust litigation.
As a litigation associate for a firm in Arizona, Ms. Kalt was responsible for all aspects of a products liability and insurance litigation case-load. Ms. Kalt has represented clients in Arizona State courts and the United States District Court, District of Arizona. Ms. Kalt also has an active pro bono practice. She is a volunteer attorney for the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program in Washington, DC.
