Jessica Thorson represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the country and has significant experience in complex litigation involving business torts, contract disputes, intellectual property rights, civil rights, and disability discrimination, among others.
She also has extensive experience handling civil appeals brought in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Eleventh, and Federal Circuits, as well as Florida’s District Courts of Appeal.
Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, P.A., Ms. Thorson worked as an intern for the Juvenile Advocacy Clinic at the University of Florida where she represented children in delinquency and dependency cases. She also worked as an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida and Pasco County Attorney’s Office.
She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with honors. While at the University of Florida, she was elected to the Order of the Coif and received a certificate for her pro bono work.
