Jian (Brenda) Xu focuses her practice on cross-border commercial transactions including foreign direct investments in the US and China, merger and acquisitions, international trade and dispute resolutions in various industries including information technology, manufacturing, trading, aviation, consumer products and advertising.
Brenda is experienced in advising clients with respect to general corporate matters in the course of doing business in the US and China. She regularly assists clients in joint ventures, reorganization, corporate governance and compliance.
Brenda often advises clients in commercial contracts, labor and employment, anti-commercial bribery, foreign exchange, import and export control, intellectual property protection, and technology licensing.
Brenda joined the Squire Patton Boggs Beijing office in 2008 and transferred to the Los Angeles office in 2012. She passed the PRC Bar Examination in 2006 and was admitted in New York state in 2013.
