Ms. Tan Jie holds a Ph.D. degree from the State University of New York and a JD from the Franklin Pierce School of Law. She holds a US Patent Office, a New York and Massachusetts State Lawyer license.
Dr. Tan Jie has worked as a software engineer and has been doing research in the field of biotechnology for many years. As an early master’s graduate of the Chinese Academy of Sciences after China’s reform and opening up, Dr. Tan Jie was the first high-degree technician in the field of Sino-foreign joint venture technology development after China’s reform and opening up.
The interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary and multi-tech background has enabled Dr. Tan to have a unique insight and a deeper and comprehensive understanding of complex technology inventions and their market potential, thus proposing more creative legal solutions and recommendations.
Ms. Tan Jie has successfully represented a variety of technology patent applications and services, and successfully represented clients in court matters.
