Joe Lopez

Joe Lopez is a partner at The Lopez Law Firm, located in Austin, Texas. Focusing his practice exclusively on personal injury litigation, he represents clients throughout the area who have been harmed by the negligence of others in matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, workplace accidents and similar cases.

A native of El Paso, Texas, Mr. Lopez completed his undergraduate studies at St. Edward’s University in Austin, receiving his bachelor’s degree in business finance in 2000. He then went on to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2003.

He has been in private practice for his entire career. Admitted to practice in Texas, Mr. Lopez is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

As a measure of the regard in which he is held by his fellow professionals, Mr. Lopez has received an “Excellent” peer-review rating through Avvo, and he has been listed in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. Due to the many sizable verdicts and settlements that he has obtained on behalf of his clients, he is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

In order to continue to stay abreast of current developments in his field and to forge connections with fellow members of the bar, Mr. Lopez is an active participant in several professional organizations.

He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas.
