At Baxley, Dillard, McKnight, James & McElroy he often assists Bill Baxley in trial and appellate proceedings. He devotes a majority of his practice to the defense of business clients, but also enjoys diversifying his practice to include representing plaintiffs in civil actions involving constitutional, environmental and business issues, often in disputes arising from state and federal regulatory actions.
He graduated from the University of Alabama’s School of Commerce and Business in 1971, and from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1975. Commissioned as a JAG officer in the Alabama Army National Guard, he served 20 years in that part-time capacity, retiring from military service in 1991. He has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer.
