John Bossert focuses his practice on intellectual property matters. Before joining Davis Wright Tremaine, and while attending law school, John worked as a software engineer, database developer/architect, and project/program manager. As an engineer, John worked for both Fortune 100 companies and start-ups where he designed and implemented internal and customer-facing web and database applications, and managed teams of software engineers, technicians, and technical writers.
As a consultant, John advised senior management on the adoption of open source software strategies and assisted wireless communication companies and other organizations procure and implement database technologies.
