John Joseph Foley is a talented evaluator, capable of analyzing key issues quickly and using that information to leverage all of the available facts, putting his clients in the best possible position for success.
John has many years of experience on both sides of the coin, serving as both a prosecutor and defense attorney and representing both plaintiffs and defendants for a broad range of civil cases, granting him invaluable insight.
He lives by a mantra passed down from his mother, who always told him that unlike liars, truth can be dealt with. And when you’re wrong, she’d say, admit it and apologize.
John is a direct and honest advocate who will be the first to tell a client whether or not their case has merit, and how to best proceed with the strengths of the case. John studied history and played baseball at Oklahoma Baptist University.
Following law school, John started his career as a plaintiff’s attorney. He later moved into governmental positions, first working as an assistant district attorney, next working as the Juvenile Division Director prosecuting both delinquency and dependency cases, and lastly serving as general counsel for the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs.
In 1999, he opened up his own practice, where he worked extensively with civil litigation. In early 2013, John closed the practice, sold his home and moved to Arizona to be with his fiancée, Janice.
