John P. Farnsworth

Mr. Farnsworth is Co-Chair of the firm’s Energy Practice Group. His practice includes oil and gas litigation, commercial contract disputes, toxic tort, medical malpractice, and products liability claims, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceutical products.

Mr. Farnsworth has over 20 years of litigation experience. He joined Stone Pigman in 1999 after practicing in Washington, D.C. for three years.

Professional and Civic Activities:

Mr. Farnsworth is a member of the American, Louisiana State, and New Orleans Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Energy Bar Association and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. He volunteers with CASA New Orleans as a court-appointed special advocate for children, and he is also a member of the New Orleans Citizen Diplomacy Council.
