From an early age, Mr. Prentiss knew he wanted to continue his family’s legacy as an attorney. His passion for justice and helping those in need has only continued to grow since then.
Mr. Prentiss grew up in Texas, where he attended Southwestern University in Georgetown and earned a BA in history and theater. After college he moved to Denver, working as a theater technician prior to attending the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law.
After graduating from law school Mr. Prentiss was sworn in as a Deputy District Attorney for Denver where he handled hundreds of cases ranging from traffic and misdemeanor matters to first-degree murder. It was at the DA’s office, while again working in the juvenile division, that Mr. Prentiss developed a passion for helping children who have become involved in the justice system.
This passion has naturally focused his practice on parental responsibility actions, where he is able to use his substantial litigation experience to ensure that his clients obtain the results they want and that the best interest of the children involved takes priority. Mr. Prentiss has successfully represented clients in parental responsibility and divorce cases since 2009.
