
John M. Skonberg concentrates in the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including :

John represents clients before federal and California State courts and in administrative hearings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and the National Labor Relations Board. He has specific experience handling claims that arise under :
- The National Labor Relations Act
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- The Family and Medical Leave Act
- The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act
In addition, John provides compliance counseling and has presented numerous seminars on various aspects of labor and employment law to trade associations and other employer groups. His clients include : Trucking companies, Healthcare product manufacturers, Transportation companies.
John previously served as a co-chair of Littler’s Traditional Labor Practice Group and was a core member of the International Employment Law Practice Group. He also serves on the firm’s Hiring Committee. Prior to joining Littler, he worked as a trial attorney for the NLRB and as an assistant to an NLRB board member.
