John R. Visconsi’s practice focuses on commercial leasing and financing, and commercial real property purchase and sale transactions. He is responsible for negotiating, drafting and reviewing various real estate contracts for retail, office and industrial uses, including leases, purchase/sale agreements, easements, licenses, deeds of trust, subordination agreements, promissory notes, and amendments.
Among other local and national clients, he has negotiated real estate contracts on behalf of Verizon Wireless, Aaron Brothers, Qlogic, American Honda, CNN and Agility Logistics.
Representative adverse parties with whom he has negotiated agreements include Equity Office Properties, Arden Realty, Westfield, the Irvine Company, and the Mission Viejo Company.
He has drafted and negotiated purchase and sale agreements, and handled the closing of numerous purchase and sale transactions on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and local landlords.
On behalf of national retailers, he has negotiated and closed many retail lease transactions for stores of all sizes. He has handled hundreds of leases, licenses and easements for telecommunications sites throughout the western United States.
During the past five (5) years, John negotiated and closed real estate transactions throughout the United States involving well over 10,000,000 square feet of rentable space. He recently negotiated and closed three build to suit projects for call centers totaling more than 500,000 square feet of rentable space.
