
John Becker focuses his practice on the defense of a wide range of workers’ compensation claims. He routinely appears before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. John handles his cases from inception through completion, and has extensive experience in drafting appeals and memoranda, as well as deposing medical professionals on issues pertaining to workers’ compensation claims.
John’s experience includes previously serving as a legislative assistant for a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He also worked as an intern in the American Petroleum Institute’s Office of General Counsel, where he drafted memoranda regarding issues facing the oil and gas industry, analyzed Environmental Protection Agency regulations, advised employees on bylaws and governance issues, and tracked litigation pertaining to oil and gas projects.
