Jonathan R. Chally is an experienced commercial litigator with a broad-based practice representing corporate defendants in high-stakes disputes. He is a partner in our Atlanta office, and his practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, particularly related to significant corporate transactions and class actions.
Jon regularly represents defendants in various types of disputes relating to significant corporate transactions, including shareholder class actions challenging public company mergers and acquisitions, post-closing disputes and valuation-related disputes. He has represented both corporate clients and private equity funds in litigation, often in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
In addition, Jon has extensive experience in consumer class actions. He regularly represents defendants in high-stakes class actions, and he has litigated such cases in courts across the country and in connection with many of the cutting-edge issues facing class action defendants over the last dozen years.
Jon has experience in other types of complex commercial litigation. Examples include, proxy-related disputes, professional liability litigation, real estate disputes and high-stakes breach-of-contract matters.
Jon is a frequent author and speaker on a variety of topics, including developing issues in class actions.
