Jonathan R. Hayes emphasis of practice is in personal injury trial practice, specializing in the areas of motor vehicle collisions, catastrophic injuries, construction site incidents, premise liability, industrial incidents, public entity liability, wrongful death, general negligence and product liability.
Mr. Hayes is a partner in the law firm of Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP. Mr. Hayes has dedicated himself to representing individuals against insurance companies both inside and outside the courtroom.
After graduating from Penn State, home of the Nittany Lions, Mr. Hayes returned home to Sacramento. Shortly after, he began his legal career as a law clerk for Roger Dreyer. Mr. Hayes began his legal schooling at University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law later that fall.
While attending evening courses at Pacific McGeorge, Mr. Hayes performed well in his classes and ultimately was selected to participate on the moot court team. Mr. Hayes continued to distinguish himself while in school by working full time as a law clerk, assisting Mr. Dreyer with the prosecution and trial of numerous cases for catastrophically injured individuals.
Since earning his law degree and passing the bar, Mr. Hayes accepted the position as an associate attorney for Mr. Dreyer. Mr. Hayes represents injured individuals that are treated unfairly by the insurance industry and corporate America. He has handled hundreds of cases in his years of practice and has achieved several significant results for his clients. He has done arbitrations, mediations and trials.
His clients have included school teachers, lawyers, doctors, iron workers, plumbers and chefs that have suffered injuries. He has taught a number of continuing education courses, including “Preparing and Trying Soft Tissue Cases” and “Gaining the Best Settlement in Auto Injury Cases.” He has also judged local mock trial competitions and been an invited lecturer for local legal associations.
Mr. Hayes is a married father of three young children. His family is local to Sacramento, where he plans on raising his children. He is active in his community and in working to make Sacramento a better place. His personal interests include recreational hiking and climbing, coaching soccer and baseball, running and playing basketball.
