Jonathan S. Meltzer is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Meltzer served as a law clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan and Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Meltzer also served as a Bristow Fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General in the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Meltzer earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as comments editor of the Yale Law Journal and as a Coker Fellow in constitutional law. He graduated cum laude from Harvard University with an A.B. in history. Before attending law school, Mr. Meltzer taught high school history and economics.
