
Jonathan E. Robe represents clients in intellectual property matters involving patent and trademark disputes across a variety of industries. He has experience drafting patent applications in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, has prepared responses to USPTO official actions, and has counseled startups on managing and expanding their domestic and foreign patent portfolios.
He also has experience representing clients in post-grant proceedings before the USPTO. Before joining WilmerHale, Mr. Robe was an associate at another law firm in Washington DC.
Previously, he was a research associate and fellow at the Center for College Affordability and Productivity, where he co-authored several studies and testified as an expert in a hearing of a legislative committee of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He also advised staffs of legislators of both major parties on higher education reform at state and federal levels.
