Jonathan Shin

Jonathan H. Shin is a senior associate in the Los Angeles office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Healthcare practice. He represents hospitals, behavioral health facilities, laboratories, medical device manufacturers and other healthcare providers in managed care and general commercial litigation in arbitrations and state and federal civil actions throughout the country.

Jonathan also has experience defending companies against government investigations and accusations of fraud and abuse.

Jonathan has counseled and represented companies in matters involving managed care, contracting, insurance, fraud and abuse, e-discovery, commercial real estate, trade secrets and intellectual property.

Jonathan has significant case management, deposition, motion and trial experience, and has been a member of numerous trial and arbitration teams in matters that resulted in favorable outcomes for his clients.

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University and his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where he was Order of the Coif, a participant in the Moot Court Honors Program, and managing editor of the Pacific Basin Law Journal.
