Jonathan T. Lucier

Jonathan T. Lucier represents companies in complex commercial litigation, including securities fraud, mass tort and product liability class actions and in enforcement matters before the Securities Exchange Commission. He defends clients against claims under the Virginia Fraud Against Taxpayers Act, and he also represents creditors in various bankruptcy matters.

Jon supports the firm’s Attorneys General and State Agency practice group by assisting clients in services and proceedings brought by government representatives. He has been involved with consumer protection including client representation in the hospitality industry and a professional services company.

Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Jon was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington D.C. and served as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Cacheris, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He started his law career in New York as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Jon earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as senior articles editor of the Virginia Law & Business Review, and his B.A. in Political Science and Religion, summa cum laude, from Hampden-Sydney College.
