Joon Cho is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition practice group. His practice focuses on regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions, civil antitrust litigation, and government investigations. He has worked on matters covering a range of industries, including telecommunications and mass media, aerospace and defense technology.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Cho worked as an equity research analyst with a focus on housing and labor market recovery in the U.S., and served in the Korean Marine Corps as an infantry platoon leader and target analyst.
Mr. Cho received his J.D., from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was the Development Editor of the Asian American Law Journal. He earned his M.S. and B.S. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
