
Jordan Smith is an associate who focuses his practice on complex litigation matters and represents a broad range of clients. Mr. Smith previously worked at WilmerHale in 2015 as a summer associate.
While attending the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, Mr. Smith was a certified student intern for the Post-Conviction Justice Project. In that role, he represented incarcerated clients in parole hearings, Miller sentencings and habeas petitions.
He also argued in the California Courts of Appeal on behalf of a juvenile client seeking relief under newly enacted sentencing reform statutes. In 2014, Mr. Smith was a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean Pregerson of the US District Court for the Central District of California.
In Tennessee, Mr. Smith helped establish Pond Gap Full Service Elementary School—the first full-service Title I community school to provide social, academic and health services for at-risk children and community members to improve student performance. He was also an intern and policy analyst at the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition and a legal intern at a law firm in Memphis.
