After more than 20 years as an archaeologist in the environmental consulting sector, Joseph Anthony Ezzo Jr decided on a mid-life career change and enrolled in law school at the U of A in 2009.
I was a member of the our national trial team, and participated in four oral argument competitions, winning first place in three of them and placing the second in the other.
After graudation in 2012 I spent nearlly 2 years working in the area of international human rights and doing some mediation work before deciding to pursue a more conventional legal career in criminal defense.
I then spent two years as a Law Clerk at the Pima County Public Defenders, where I worked closely with more than 50 trial lawyers on over 400 cases. I handle both misdemeanor and felony cases.
