He passed the bar exam in the first attempt and obtained the license to practice law in the state of California in the same year. He started working as a legal assistant in 2011 with attorneys in Irvine, California and took up duties such as discovery, liens, court documents, organizing files for correspondence, and miscellaneous items like Subrosa.

He briefed discovery documents such as subpoenas duces tecum, medical reports from primary care & treatment providers, and Qualified Medical Evaluators.
