Mr. Davis’ practice includes the representation of developers, lenders, landlords, and tenants in a variety of commercial transactions ranging from shopping center developments to single tenant and multi-family developments.
He has represented developers in the successful purchase, leasing, financing, development and sale of over three million square feet of leasable space in a number of states across the country ranging from California to Florida.
Mr. Davis is a licensed Title Insurance Agent and his practice includes title examination and title insurance in connection with the sale and acquisition of real property.
He also routinely represents lenders and other creditors in commercial and residential foreclosure actions and loan default workout transactions and has handled hundreds of foreclosures in the state of Alabama.
Prior to law school, Mr. Davis was in commercial banking where he worked with several of the state’s largest privately owned corporations, helping to provide working capital financing, equipment and real estate financing, and other structured financing.
Mr. Davis earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Auburn University and his juris doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law.
