
Joseph M. Magro is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Corporate & Securities practice based in Houston. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions. Joe has experience representing buyers and sellers in domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and assets.
In addition, Joe has represented private equity funds, portfolio companies and management teams in structuring, negotiating and documenting private equity investments.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Joe worked in the New York office of a leading international law firm, concentrating his practice on public and private corporate and transactional matters.
Joe earned his JD degree, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the Seton Hall University School of Law and served as an Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. He earned a BA from Princeton University.
