Joseph Miceli is a partner in Lewis Brisbois’ Orange County Office. Joe focuses his practice on the defense of businesses and individuals in a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Joe worked for a boutique construction defect litigation firm, where he represented national and regional developers in all phases of construction defect litigation.
Since joining Lewis Brisbois, Joe’s construction practice has expanded to the representation of subcontractors in construction defect litigation and contract disputes, as well as to design professionals (architects and engineers) in professional liability claims. Joe has developed a keen talent for identifying and implementing risk transfer opportunities in construction related matters.
Joe’s general liability practice entails the representation of businesses and individuals in matters ranging from personal injury claims to professional liability/errors and omissions claims. Joe has successfully defended school districts, oil drilling contractors, and commercial property owners from serious personal injury claims.
He also has significant experience in the defense of insurance and securities brokers against claims for professional negligence and fraud. In his general liability practice, Joe has earned a reputation for being able to resolve difficult, high exposure matters short of trial.
