Joseph Musacchio joined Kreindler & Kreindler in 2006 upon the opening of our Boston office, bringing with him twenty-four years of experience as a lawyer in tort litigation, including aviation, medical malpractice, product liability claims, industrial accidents, and other complex tort cases involving death or catastrophic injury.
He has also represented parties in commercial litigation and employment law, including the representation of individuals in lawsuits asserting unfair and bad faith settlement practices against insurance companies.
Mr. Musacchio is recognized in the legal community as an experienced and highly qualified appellate attorney. Over his career, he has briefed and/or presented over thirty-five appeals to the Massachusetts State and Federal appellate courts and other appellate jurisdictions.
A 1979 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mr. Musacchio, in 1982, graduated with honors from Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts.
While in law school, Mr. Musacchio was a Lead Articles Editor for the Western New England Law Review and published an article in that journal on the right to a jury trial in complete civil litigation entitled, “A Due Process Limitation on the Seventh Amendment Right to a Jury Trial.”
In 2000, Mr. Musacchio began to exclusively represent plaintiffs when he joined the law firm Sarrouf, Tarricone & Flemming where he worked closely with Anthony Tarricone litigating catastrophic injury cases. He also acted as the firm’s principal appellate counsel involved in asserting plaintiff’s rights before the appellate courts and drafting and arguing complex motions before trial judges.
Mr. Musacchio is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States Court of Appeals (First Circuit), United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
