Joshua A. Bachrach concentrates his practice in the areas of finance, business restructuring, and bankruptcy matters, including:
- commercial financing
- asset-based and cash-flow financing
- secured transactions
- acquisition financing
- real estate financing
- loan syndications and participations
Josh also has experience advising financial institutions on securities and bank regulatory issues in connection with cross-border transactions and compliance, and advising public and privately-held companies across a range of industries in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and government investigations.
Earlier in his career, he served pro bono as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and as a legal consultant in Rwanda for a non-governmental organization.
Josh earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an executive editor on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, a Global Teaching Fellow, and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team of the Barristers’ Council.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and graduated as valedictorian from Loyola Marymount University.
