Joshua M. Benson focuses his practice on outsourcing agreements, technology licensing, and contracts and commercial agreements. He has represented public and private companies in various industries including healthcare, telecommunications networks, real estate, hospitality, energy, and business services.
Prior to joining the firm, Joshua was a corporate associate in the Dallas, Texas office of an international law firm where he practiced in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities law, private equity, and general corporate law.
While attending law school, Joshua served in internships in the Economic Crimes Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts and at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in California.
He also taught an intensive negotiation workshop to law and business graduate students at the National University of Malaysia and worked with the British Columbia Ministry of Justice to conceptualize the world’s first online Civil Resolution Tribunal for small claims and strata property disputes, which went live in July 2016. He was also a member of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology.
